St Johns offers two groups for the under fives and their parents/carers to meet up in a safe environment.
Just Babies
Just Babies won’t be running for the foreseeable future, but Little Monsters now welcomes all ages up to 5 years.
Just Babies’ is a group for parents/carers and their babies aged under 1 or when they are walking.
Meeting: Every Wednesday afternoon 1:30 until 3:00pm in the Link Area between the Church and the Halls
We enclose an area with chairs and put down baby mats and put out lots of rattles and pull along toys and and other toys suitable for babies up to about 15 months. We do have a couple of walkers for those who are beginning to move about and find their feet. For the last fifteen minutes or so of the session we sing songs and nursery rhymes before we say goodbye. The purpose of the group is for new Mums to have a warm safe place to meet other new Mums
There are always two ladies facilitating the meeting .
Little Monsters

Little Monsters aged 0-5 years
We have many activities for our toddlers to enjoy such as ride-on-toys : play dough : painting : imaginary play : puzzles : toys
We offer all the parents and carers a hot drink while the children play. At the end of our session we have a time for singing songs together and we provide children a drink and a snack .
Meeting: Alternate Wednesday mornings during School Term times 9:30 until 11am
Spring 2026:
7th January, 21st January, 4th February, 18th February, 4th March and 18th March
Our group is FREE for your first week, we do ask for a small fee after that to help with costs of coffee and crafts we are providing.
