Despite the change to Tier 3 we will be still be in church this Sunday.  Charlie will be demonstrating and explaining a Christingle, which you can then make in your own time. No need to bring an orange to church!

If you do wish to come to this service at the church, you will have to book.  Eventbrite is open for bookings and will close at 5 pm on Saturday 19th December.  You can book by following this link.

Provided the weather is kind to us we will be carol singing at our “Carols in the Car Park” in the church car park on Sunday 20th December from 2-30 pm.  Eventbrite bookings for this will close at 5 pm on Saturday 19th December.  Be assured that we will be socially distanced for this event and there will be chairs to ensure that no-one “misbehaves”.  You will not be able to park in the car park and we ask that you follow our stewards directions so that we all observe the socially distancing rules including after the event and do not tarry in groups in the car park  There are only a few seats left so book up now at this link.

We are going to try holding our very first Zoom service at 4:30pm. It will be very informal and any family or friends you have with you over Christmas are welcome to join in. We are not celebrating Holy Communion as such but will be sharing what used to be called an “Agape Celebration” in the early church. Everyone is invited to have their own piece of food-any kind of food- and a drink and we shall eat and drink together in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The word “Agape” means “love” and this will be an expression of our unity in Jesus Christ.  There will also be some singing, which you can join in with at home. The service will last for about half an hour and those who care to may stay on in smaller “chat rooms” for another ten minutes or so and share Christmas Greetings.   As well as your items of food and drink, please have something “Christmassy” to hold- a decoration or a gift or a card or a Christmas jumper!. You can join this service by using this link.

There will be a short all-age service in the church at 10am. Children and adults are invited to bring a Christmas present with them to show. You can book by following this link.

Online (website, Facebook and YouTube) there will be Christmas Messages from both Jennifer and Charlie.

This will be an Online Service only.

For our first service of the New Year we will be back in church.  Traditionally, in normal times, this would have been a communion service but there will be NO communion this Sunday.

Details on how to book through Eventbrite will be sent out after Christmas.

And of course all our wonderful on line services are still available every Sunday on Facebook Live and YouTube from 10:20 and via our Website and Vimeo from 10:00.

We no longer have a telephone booking service so if you have any difficulties booking please speak either to myself or Tina.

Take care and stay safe.
