St. John’s this Christmas?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Ad Hoc Choir may be for you!
Don’t worry if you can’t read music. Anyone who enjoys singing is assured of a warm welcome – no auditions necessary!
Once again we are hoping to form a choir to sing at the 7pm Candlelight Carol Service at St. John’s on Sunday, 18th December. We very much hope that as many of you as possible will want to take part in worship in this way. The music will be a selection of traditional, contemporary and other styles.
The rehearsals will take place in the Church from 7.30pm – 9.00pm on the following dates:
Wednesday 9th November
Thursday, 17th November
Monday, 21st November
Tuesday, 29th November
Monday, 5th December
Thursday, 15th December
There will be an extra rehearsal on the morning of Saturday, 17th December from 10am – 11.00am.
We have chosen different days of the week so that people who have a regular commitment on a certain night will be able to make most of the rehearsals and still honour that commitment.
